Ferderbar Physical Education

The 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade students have just completed their dance unit.  During the dance unit, students were exploring creativity in building dances, and they also learned some cultural and popular dances.  Hopefully students will feel more confident to use their dance skills outside of class.

The 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade classes will be starting the challenge and adventure lessons.  The purpose of these lessons is to build teamwork and problem solving skills as the students try to do activities that are physically challenging. 

The kindergarten, 1^st and 2^nd grade classes have finished their cooperative activities unit. They have been learning how to be a leader, how to follow a leader, how to use good listening skills, and how to work together as a “team”.  The next unit for these classes will be dance and creative movement activities.
